Community Guidelines

 

Cribfull is built on one idea: everyone deserves a great night. These guidelines exist to keep the community safe, authentic, and worth showing up for. By using Cribfull, you agree to these standards.

Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent ban — depending on severity and history.

🤝 Be Authentic

Real people. Real events. Real vibes.

  • Use your real name or a consistent, recognizable username.
  • If you choose to add a profile photo, it must be a genuine photo of yourself — not a logo, celebrity image, or misleading graphic.
  • Post accurate event information — date, time, location, and what attendees can expect.
  • Don't misrepresent yourself or impersonate other people or brands.
  • Don't create fake RSVPs or artificially inflate event attendance numbers.

👥 Respect Everyone

The nightlife community is for everyone. Treat people the way you'd want to be treated.

  • No harassment, bullying, or targeted abuse toward any user.
  • No hate speech, slurs, or content that discriminates based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
  • No sharing private information about other users without their explicit consent (doxxing).
  • No unsolicited sexual messages or explicit content sent to other users.
  • Ghost Mode is a privacy tool for your own protection — do not use it to surveil, stalk, or monitor other users.

🔒 Messaging Responsibly

Direct messages on Cribfull are end-to-end encrypted. We designed this to protect your privacy — but that protection comes with responsibility.

  • Use direct messages only for genuine, good-faith communication with other users.
  • Do not use messages to harass, threaten, solicit, scam, or harm others.
  • Do not send unsolicited promotional content, spam, or bulk invitations via messages.
  • Reporting consent: Because messages are encrypted, our moderation team cannot proactively read them. If you use the in-app Report tool on a message, you explicitly consent to sharing the decrypted content of that specific message with our moderation team so we can investigate. We take all reports seriously.
  • We will never read messages you have not explicitly reported.

🚫 Blocking & Protecting Yourself

You are in control of your experience on Cribfull.

  • Use the Block feature on any profile to prevent that user from contacting or seeing you. Blocks sync instantly across all your devices.
  • You can view and manage your blocked accounts at any time via Profile → Privacy → Blocked Accounts.
  • Blocking is not a substitute for reporting serious violations. If someone has threatened you, harassed you, or broken our guidelines, please also submit an in-app report.
  • Do not create new accounts to circumvent a block or ban. This is a violation of our Terms of Service and will result in permanent removal.

⚠️ No Harmful or Illegal Content

Cribfull is a space for good times — not illegal activity.

  • Don't use Cribfull to organize, promote, or facilitate illegal activity.
  • Don't post content that depicts or glorifies violence, self-harm, or dangerous behavior.
  • No nudity or sexually explicit content in public-facing profiles or event listings.
  • No content that promotes or sells controlled substances, illegal firearms, or contraband.
  • Do not use the platform to traffic persons or facilitate exploitation of any kind.

✅ Keep Events Honest

Attendees trust hosts. Don't break that trust.

  • Event listings must accurately describe what attendees will experience.
  • Don't charge entry fees for events you don't intend to hold.
  • If an event is cancelled or significantly changed, notify your attendees promptly through the app.
  • Don't use events as a front for commercial promotions, scams, or phishing.
  • Ticket or RSVP fraud is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.

🚫 No Spam or Manipulation

Quality over noise. Keep the feed clean.

  • Don't post duplicate or low-quality event listings to game the discovery algorithm.
  • Don't use bots or automated tools to interact with the platform.
  • Don't send unsolicited bulk messages or invitations to users who haven't requested them.
  • Don't manipulate reviews, tips, or RSVP counts.

If you see content or behavior that violates these guidelines, report it directly in the app:

If you believe your account was suspended or content was removed in error, you may appeal by emailing support@cribfull.com with the subject line "Appeal." Every appeal is reviewed by a real person, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.

The spirit of these guidelines: Cribfull is for people who love the night and the culture around it. We want everyone — hosts, attendees, explorers — to feel safe, respected, and excited to be here. These rules protect that feeling.
