Your Data, Your Control
Request My Data
You have the right to receive a copy of all personal data Cribfull holds about you. Your data export will include:
- Account information (name, email, username, date of birth)
- Profile photo (if set)
- Events you created and attended
- RSVP history and check-in records
- Tip transaction history (amounts, dates — no full card details)
- Profile activity and app usage data
- Block list (IDs of users you have blocked)
Note on messages: Because direct messages are end-to-end encrypted and stored as ciphertext on our servers, they cannot be included in a server-side data export. Your message history is accessible only on your enrolled devices via iCloud Keychain.
How to Request ✦ In-App
Option 1 — Directly in the App (Recommended)
- 1 Open Cribfull and tap your Profile icon (bottom-right tab)
- 2 Tap Privacy
- 3 Tap Request My Data
- 4 Confirm and submit. We'll email you a secure download link within 30 days.
Option 2 — Email Us
Send a request from the email address associated with your Cribfull account to:
We will process your request within 30 days as required by applicable privacy law.
Delete My Account
Before deleting, be aware that:
- Any upcoming events you are hosting will be cancelled and attendees will be notified.
- Your profile and all public content will be removed immediately.
- Your Apple Wallet passes will be invalidated.
- Your block list will be permanently deleted.
- Your encryption keys will be cleared from iCloud Keychain on sign-out, making your message history inaccessible.
- Any pending tips to your account may be forfeited.
- You will not be able to recover your account or history after deletion.
How to Delete Your Account ✦ In-App
Option 1 — Directly in the App (Recommended)
- 1 Open Cribfull and tap your Profile icon (bottom-right tab)
- 2 Tap Privacy
- 3 Tap Delete Account
- 4 Review the list of everything that will be deleted
- 5 Type "DELETE" in the confirmation field and tap Delete My Account
- 6 Your account is deleted immediately. You will be returned to the sign-in screen.
Option 2 — Email Us
Send your deletion request from the email associated with your account:
Email: privacy@cribfull.com · Subject: "Delete Account Request - Cribfull" · Include your registered email address in the message body.
What Happens After Deletion
Your account is deleted. Your profile, hosted events, RSVPs, block list, and all personal data are removed from our live systems. You are signed out on all devices. Upcoming hosted events are cancelled and attendees are notified.
Any residual personal data is permanently purged from backups and secondary systems.
Transaction records (tip history) may be retained for up to 7 years for tax and legal compliance — this data is held securely and not used for any other purpose.
Other Privacy Rights
Beyond data requests and deletion, you can also:
- Correct your data: Edit your profile directly in the app at any time from your Profile tab.
- Manage blocked accounts: View and unblock users via Profile → Privacy → Blocked Accounts.
- Revoke location access: Go to iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Cribfull → Never or While Using.
- Opt out of notifications: iPhone Settings → Notifications → Cribfull → toggle off.
